deal with Discovery Communications to develop animal-themed games based on various shows on the TV station's Animal Planet channel such as as Meerkat Manor and Orangutan Island. The multi title agreement will focus on games that appeal to younger and older players outside the core audience of teenage boys, and are scheduled for released in late 2008.

Atari announced that Tempest, Battlezone and Warlords will also be hitting the Xbox Live Arcade soon, each with 12 achievements, support for up to 1080p as well as full-screen anti-aliasing and digital surround sound. A few days ago, Valve announced it would have Universe at War: Earth Assault available for download on launch day, but now it seems SEGA is expanding its Steam lineup with The Golden Compass, Sega Rally Revo, Sega Revo, Worldwide Soccer Manager, Futbol Manager and more. In addition to the new games, Sega titles previously released on Steam to customers in North America, such as Medieval II: Total War and Rome: Total War, are now available to Steam gamers in Europe and most of the world.
