Konami revealed its lineup for the Tokyo Game Show, where it will show off a multitude of titles such as MGS 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3), MG Online (PS3), MGS 2: Bande Dessinee (PSP), MGS: Portable Ops + (PSP), Doko Demo Pilates (NDS), Doko Demo Yoga (NDS), Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2 Wii (Wii), Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS3, X360), and Silent Hill Origins (PSP).

PGR 4 tries to create an emotionally-charged racing experience, where players become attached to their careers, profiles and vehicles. Drivers will be rewarded with a growing fan base that’ll cheer them on, react to their every move and support them through victory.

Effective immediately, Games Media Properties will no longer produce the World Series of Video Games. The remainder of the 2007 season in Los Angeles, London and Sweden is canceled.

Mercury Games announces Matchstick Puzzle by DS, a classic puzzle game which requires lateral thinking and includes lots of brain teasing conundrums. The aim of the game is to answer the questions by moving or rotating matchsticks.

Meridian4 announced that it has signed Black Element Software's single-player oriented sci-fi FPS, featuring a varied balance of combat and more technical activities such as hacking and remotely controlling robotic devices.

While Level 5 are still working on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Scheduled for release this winter in Japan, no word whether Square Enix will be bringing it to Europe and/or North America.

Wing Island is a multiplayer biplane game exclusively for the Wii. Reminiscent of Hudson's PilotWings, Wing Island makes use of the Wiimote's tilt function to control your aircraft and acrobatic maneuvers.

FASA Studio manager Mitch Gitelman announced that they are no more, "Today was the official last day of employment for those of us who had not moved on to other positions within Microsoft Game Studios." Loki: Heroes of Mythology is an action/RPG where players take on the role of one of four great mythological heroes as they confront hordes of evil minions, battle against great mythological beasts and defy the gods in an adventure bristling with rage. While the previous demo let you play as the Norse fighter, this one puts you in charge of the Egyptian mage.

Electronic Arts' first Wii trivia game Smarty Pants will combine age-targeted trivia with action-based gestures, making it a truly trans-generational game for the Wii.
