'The Cell' director Tarsem Singh has signed on for 'The Unforgettable,' a science fiction thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures being produced by Basil Iwanyk, David Goyer and Jason Hall (former WBIE VP), based on Monolith's Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Interplay announced earnings for the Q2 2007, reporting a net income of $5.46 million, compared to last year's $2.06 million. The results are mainly due to the sale of its Fallout license to Bethesda (for $5,750,000), while itself obtaining an exclusive license, under certain conditions, to use the IP for developing a Fallout MMO.

A leaked advertisement for major retailer Carrefour reveals that Microsoft will also drop the Xbox 360 price in Europe. The announcement will most likely be made next week during the Leipzig Games Convention as the ad clearly states that the new price will go in effect August 24, also the launch date for the X360 Elite in Europe. From that date on the Premium will sell for 349 €, while the Core will carry a 279 € price tag.
