While and Level 5 are still at work on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, it was revealed in various Japanese print magazines that several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Whether Square Enix will be bringing the RPG remakes to Europe and/or North America was not mentioned, but Dragon Quest IV is expected in Japan this winter.

Jus when you though things were look up a bit for Sony, they get sued.. again. After the rumble debacle last year, Sony was recently taken to court for the PS3s Blu-ray discs digital security technology, and on July 26 a Californian company going by the name of Parallel Processing Corporation claims
Sony is infringing on its 1991 patent for "synchronized parallel processing with shared memory," and is requesting the impounding and destruction of all Sony products that infringe on the patent

looking for a PS3 programmer to port X360/PC code base to PS3. Since Overlord is their only recent Xbox 360 title, it might indicate, unless there is a yet-unannounced title in the works, that it might be making an appearance on the PS3.

Namco Bandai revealed it's working on no less than four titles in the Tales Of franchise, one of them being Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk for the Wii. While there has yet to be an official announcement, we do know it is set two years later, and Emile Castanie is the new hero.

Just as Sony's PS3 price cut was prematurely leaked through early ads, the rumored Xbox 360 price cut might also become a reality soon. Ads for Walmart and Toys 'R Us reveal that on Sunday, August 12, both retail chain stores will drop the price for the Xbox 360 by $50, to $349. Whether this reduction is only for the premium system was not clear, as that was the only model printed in the ad.
