Dimension Films has sealed a deal to acquire North American distribution rights to the vidgame-based action pic Dead or Alive by The Transporter helmer Corey Yuen, which will be shot in China starting next fall. Dead or Alive 4 will redefine 3-D high definition graphics and sound, creating the most visually beautiful and realistic looking video game to date. DOA features online capabilities via Xbox Live, new interactive stages, an all star line-up of old and new favorite characters, and the most complex countering system yet.

Marble Blast Ultra takes place in a futuristic 'astrolab' arena suspended high in the clouds where players compete against each other by navigating their marbles through moving platforms and dangerous hazards, while collecting rare gems and power-up enhancements, in an effort to complete each course in record time.

Recently Eidos announced its newest title Zero Tolerance : City Under Fire, which was previously known as Roll Call. As it turns out that name change wasn't a very good idea as back in 1994 there was a Megadrive game with that same name, from developer Technopop. Somebody forgot to do their homework and check with the registration, resulting in Eidos getting sued for Copyright Infringement in North America and will have to explain its case before the U.S. Patent Office. Whether this legal action will have an impact on the title's release date is not known, no Eidos representative could be reached for comment.

VU Games today announced that its gritty urban action game 50 Cent: Bulletproof is now available at retail stores across North America. In Bulletproof, 50 gets caught in a web of corruption, double-crosses and shady deals that lead him on a bloody path through New York's drug underworld.
