Electronic Arts announced today that film actress Shannon Elizabeth has joined the ranks of Hollywood talent enlisted by EA and will lend her talents to the videogame James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing. Ms. Elizabeth will provide her likeness and voice for the first original interactive Bond girl to be cast, "Serena St. Germaine". Her character will be an integral part of the original storyline in this new installment. James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is scheduled for release under the EA GAMES brand this fall for PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube, and Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Blizzard Entertainment gave show attendees an exclusive look at one of "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne's" highly anticipated single-player campaigns. With the multiplayer beta test nearing completion, the campaigns are among the last of many new features that are being finalized in preparation for the expansion set's launch this summer. Kicking off the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), co-publishers ARUSH Entertainment and Groove Games today announced that Massachusetts developer Cyberlore has begun development on Playboy: The Mansion. Gamers worldwide will get the chance to build Hugh Hefner's Playboy Empire on their PCs and console gaming systems in late 2004.

Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) announced today that the PC Strategy / Simulation game Evil Genius will be shown behind closed doors at the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, May 14-16. Evil Genius is being developed by London-based Elixir Studios, and is scheduled for a Q3 2004 release.

Under license from Hasbro Consumer Products, Atari has announced plans to take one of the most popular trading card games ever created to the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft with the release of "Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds." A PC CD-ROM version of the game was also announced. Atari, Inc. and TimeGate Studios, Inc. announced today a partnership to develop a new PC installment of Axis & Allies, the popular World War II game franchise. Axis & Allies: RTS (working title) is inspired by the game of war, strategy and economics found in the best-selling Axis & Allies board game, but features unique elements that allow players to change the course of history in new ways. Axis & Allies: RTS is being developed for the PC by TimeGate Studios, creators of the award-winning Kohan series, and is scheduled for release in fall 2004 for the PC.

Mindscape today announced the release of Law and Order: Dead on the Money, a unique blend of field investigation and courtroom trial gameplay based on the award-winning TV series, due for PC on 6th June 2003. Law and Order has over 20 million worldwide viewers per episode and is currently being broadcast on Channel Five on Saturday nights within the UK. Filmed entirely on location in New York City, this realistic programme looks at crime and justice from a dual perspective. In the first half-hour, Detectives Lennie Briscoe and Edward Green investigate crimes and apprehend suspects under the supervision of their precinct lieutenant, Anita Van Buren. In the second half-hour, the focus shifts to the criminal courts. Executive Assistant District Attorney Jack McCoy and Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn work within a complicated justice system to prosecute the accused.
