Konami of America has announced that Silent Hill 3 for the PlayStation 2 has been shipped to stores in North America. The game will include a bonus soundtrack CD featuring music from the game. In Silent Hill 3, players must guide Heather Morris through a series of eerie environments that are overrun with dozens of nasty creatures ranging from split-headed zombie dogs to horribly mutated humanoids.

Ubi Soft has announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder has been shipped to stores in North America. Island Thunder is a stand-alone expansion that features 12 different game types as well as 12 multiplayer maps--four of which have been taken directly from the original version of Ghost Recon.
