Paradox announced that its strategy game Europa Universalis III will be shipping to stores on January 23, 2007 in North America with releases in Europe and Australia to follow shortly thereafter.

Paradox Interactive recently announced that the EU III Collectors Edition will include a soundtrack CD as well as a composer diary, originally composed, produced by renowned composer Andreas Waldetoft, who also recently did work on Hearts of Iron II.

Europa Universalis III will have a limited Collectors Edition print run, which will include a 100-page 4 color strategy guide, Producer introduction to the game, EU III soundtrack composers diary, complementing the soundtrack, exclusive download content, including special forum bonus content, and a poster, stickers and the game manual.

Paradox Entertainment has licensed the British developer Virtual ProgrammingLtd the right to convert the award-winning historical strategy game Europa Universalis II to Apple´s PowerMac. The game will be released for the christmas season.
