A community blogger addressed UFC boss Dana White pleading for a new UFC based video game, and to everybody's surprise Mr. White actually replied saying that a new game is currently in development over at THQ. No stranger to the genre with its wrestling lineup, the last UFC game released, PrideFC, was also published by THQ in 2003, and was very well received. Crave Entertainment today announced that UFC Tapout 2 is currently in development exclusively for the Xbox. Tapout 2 is being developed in Japan by Dream Factory, and is the follow up to the successful real fighting game released for Xbox earlier this year.
