Massive has released update #9 for its 3D RTS World in Conflict, which is nothing more than a hotfix addressing a a bug where the Special Abilities buttons stopped responding to mouse clicks, and fixed a bug that increased the loading times before map cycles.

World in Conflict to consoles it revealed there would be extra content included, which then would eventually be brought to the PC as an expansion pack. According to Czech edition of OXM (
thanks Jan) World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is the official name of the console edition and PC expansion pack, and add a brand new campaign (including playable Russian side), EndWar-like voice commands, new multiplayer maps (10 players only instead of original 16), and new units (chronoplane, boats). According to
