Arxel Tribe announced today a distribution deal with Tri Synergy to distribute The Gladiators in North America. The Gladiators is a 3D real-time strategy game featuring a heavy emphasis on tactics and action. Arxel feels that The Gladiators could be a real hit in the North American market and wants to make sure it gets there in a timely fashion. The Gladiators is scheduled for a February 2002 release in North America.

Interplay and Vivendi Universal Games today announced the development of the sci-fi video game Run Like Hell for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. This survival horror game previously released on the Sony PlayStation2 has been modified to take full advantage of the Xbox technology, including in game support of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound to accompany the state-of-the art 3D environments. In addition to expanding the existing gameplay area, an exclusive new level has also been created, as well as downloadable content that will be available via Xbox Live. Run Like Hell for the Xbox will be available in the spring of 2003.
