How big is the demo, and how many mirrors are expected to mirror the installer upon release?
I think we have about 200 mirrors lined up thus far! The demo is about 100Mb.
Do you have any ideas for any official/unofficial downloadable/buyable expansion packs for UT2k3 in the near future up to 6 months from now?
We expect to release some extra content but we don't have exact plans and NO we won't be charging for it.

The game is not out yet but nonetheless Electronic Arts sends along a patch for the full version of Battlefield 1942, shipping to stores and expected end of this week. This v1.1 patch brings the same changes and fixes as the multiplayer demo update, including support for the All Seeing Eye server browser, higher refresh rates, internal server browser improvements, bug fixes, and more. Additionally, the v1.1 Win32 dedicated server for the full game is now available, allowing server administrators to host all 16 maps in all gameplay modes. Shrapnel Games is now offering a playable demo of the new tactical war game from the creatures of Brigade Combat Team, Armored Task Force. The game represents a whole new approach to wargaming as they "have modeled the entire battlefield, practically down to the bolts on the road wheels!". Armobiles (Developed by Ganymede Technologies) is a combination of crazy car race and really hard shooter. High-speed cars moving across the map, on open, different environments in any direction with perfect graphic gives you amazing realistic entertaiment. Reaching a next checkpoint may be really tough, if you have behind you heavy-armored, well-armed, very quick opponents, who wants to eliminate you and reach this same target. Between stages you can buy better armors and better weapons. If it's not satisfactory for you, try to fight with real opponents (multiplayer (LAN) max. 6 opponents) in different game-play modes.

GoneGold has just reported that the PC version of Codemaster's "Prisoner Of War" just went gold and is due to arrive in stores somewhere next week. Already available on PS2 and Xbox, Prisoner of War is an 'escape adventure' game where "you play the role of Lewis Stone, a US pilot sent on reconnaissance in the midst of World War II, to investigate strange goings-on in the POW camps of Europe. Encore today announced that it has signed an exclusive co-publishing agreement with Phantagram Interactive, an international publisher and distributor of electronic entertainment software, to bring five new videogames and PC games to market. Under this agreement, Phantagram will deliver game content, while Encore will manage sales and distribution in North America. The first of these games will be Phantom Crash, a 3D mech action game scheduled for release by year end on the Xbox.
