Konami has just launched the official website for their upcoming stealth action game Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes website. The site sports a wealth of new info, some new screenshots, the E3 trailer (local mirror here), and more. Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes combines the thrilling story of the original Metal Gear Solid game with the jaw-dropping graphics and unparalleled gameplay found in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game is scheduled to ship later this year in North America and Europe, followed by the Japanese launch in early 2004.

Konami has issued a new patch for their recently released stealth action game Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, bringing your retail copy to v1.01. Konami of America, Inc. confirmed today that The Document of Metal Gear Solid2, an interactive documentary that chronicles the development of the mega-hit Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, will release in the United States on September 24th 2002. Metal Gear Solid 2, published by Konami has proved to be one of the UK's fastest selling computer game titles of all time. It reached the Silver ELSPA Award level (for sales of over 100,000 units) within the same week the title was released. Just two weeks later, it achieved the Gold ELSPA Award Level for reaching sales of 200,000 units.

Konami of Europe has announced a special press event to herald the imminent release of its Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty title for PlayStation 2.

European gamers will have to wait a little longer for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Konami today officially delayed the European launch of Metal Gear Solid 2 from February 22nd to March 8th.
