Microsoft let us know that their racing sim Rallisport Challenge and action game MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries today went GOLD for PC. These two titles will be shipped out to stores November 7 - 8.

Electronic Arts has just released the playable demo for Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, offering the opportunity to take this imminent action racing simulation for a spin. Videogame sales of THQ/JAKKS World Wrestling Entertainment license have exceeded more than $300 million in the U.S. since 1999.

Midway Sports, the sports brand of leading software industry publisher and developer Midway Games Inc. announced today that NHL Hitz 20-03, the next iteration in the NHL Hitz franchise, has shipped for the Game Boy Advance. The 3DO Company today announced that Street Racing Syndicate is currently in development for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, and the Nintendo GameCube system. Scheduled for release in 2003, "SRS" captures the heart of street racing culture, and includes extensive car customization, police intervention, and high stakes competition. The game is being developed by racing game specialist Eutechnyx Ltd. which has developed such popular titles as F1 World Grand Prix 2000, 007 Racing and Le Mans 24 Hours.
