Earlier this morning Slashdot reported that Edge Magazine has confirmated, in its July issue, that the Eidos cyberpunk-influenced PS2/Xbox FPS Snowblind, shown at E3, "was originally designed to be a spin-off from [Deus Ex], but has since gone its own way." Crystal Dynamics SnowBlind was initially known as ' Deus Ex: Clan Wars', although at that point, no developer was known on that project.

Microsoft Game Studios today announced that Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space, the sequel to one of the best-selling Xbox action-platformers, is in development and slated for a holiday 2004 release. Blinx 2: Masters of Time & Space is the world's first 5-D game, giving players control over both Time and Space. Using customized characters, gamers can choose to battle against one another in Battle Mode or team up in two-player Cooperative Mode.
