Certain Affinity is working with Microsoft on remaking two of the most popular Halo: Combat Evolved maps to work with Halo 2. The maps will be available as premium downloadable content for Xbox and Xbox 360 on April 17.

The latest issue of Famitsu reveals that Nintendo is working on a new Donkey Kong title for the Wii. Formerly know as DK Bongo Blast and originally scheduled on the GameCube last year, the title mysteriously vanished off release lists, but is now back in a new jacket. Slated for release in Japan on June 28, Donkey Kong Jet Race will feature 16 tracks, and a four-player multiplayer mode, although it was not disclosed if this would be on- or offline play.

Not really a huge surprise, but the latest Famitsu issue confirms that Capcom is working on Dead Rising 2, the sequel to last year's zombie shooter. While there are no specific details available, it seems that last year's surprise hit will remain exclusive to the Xbox 360. Ghost Rider co-creator Gary Friedrich filed a 61-page
complaint in federal court claiming 21 violations based on the production and marketing of Sony's recent "Ghost Rider." Friedrich claims the Ghost Rider copyrights reverted from Marvel to him in 2001, and accuses Sony, Marvel and Take Two of a "conspiracy to exploit, profit from and utilize" his copyrights to the comic book character.
