“With the Add-On we can offer a new Single Player Campaign with over 40 hours of gameplay, giving to our fans another episode from our RPS Franchise SpellForce filled with a number of new and original features, like the Co-operative Multiplayer “Free Mode”, where you can join your allies in battling in one of the many maps offered by the campaign. We have further enabled the Avatar to gain experience in these and other maps in Free Mode and summon non human heroes to his side in campaign and multiplayer games.” explains Volker Wertich, LeadDesigner for SpellForce. “We are confident to turn Spellforce into a successful franchise, expanding on the strengths of this innovative game” adds Gerald Kossär, Marketing Manager JoWooD.

The publisher plans to release further details on SpellForce as time progresses and has given a short summary of the plotline: A demon prince from the forgotten past of the world has plotted to bring about the return of the dark gods to Eo. He awakens the mighty Ice Dragon Aryn and sends his own burning hordes against the unsuspecting people of the realms. The rune is called on again to face the power of Fire and Ice.
