Extra 'Nintendogs' (NDS) Puppies In North America

by Rainier on June 13, 2005 @ 8:15 p.m. PDT

Nintendo revealed today that the US edition of its Japanese "runaway" hit Nintendogs will have three new breeds on top of the previously announced 18. Purchase one of several breeds available at the beginning of the game, then start spending time with your pup.

Throw flying discs and balls to improve the pup's agility, bathe it when it gets dirty, and repeat voice commands to train the dog to do tricks. If you train it well enough, you'll excel in dog shows and agility contests, which will earn you money and unlock other items and puppy breeds. Care for and train your puppy by petting it, walking it and buying it items to play with. As your dog competes in dog shows and agility contests, you can purchase other puppy breeds to keep yours company.
