SEGA announces a new character for Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania - none other than the main character from SEGA's Yakuza franchise: the infamous Kiryu Kazuma.

Kazuma Kiryu is jumping from the streets of Kamurocho into the world of Super Monkey Ball!

The legendary "Dragon of Dojima" meets the "Monkey from the jungle island," where he'll be collecting bottles of Staminan X rather than bananas! This SEGA collaboration is tough and introduces the dreaded Yakuza leader into the world of Super Monkey Ball. He appears in a classic style, with his light gray suit, maroon shirt and characteristic furrowed forehead.

The colorful cast of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania also includes other iconic guest characters such as Sonic & Tails, Beat from Jet Set Radio and many more.

In addition to the standard edition of the game, SEGA will also release a Digital Deluxe edition of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania featuring six additional classic character skins, three legendary console skins, 10 customizable Items and classic soundtrack. There will also be a special 20th Anniversary Edition of the game available at retail outlets that includes an art book, reversible cover, collectable sleeve and 10 cosmetic Items.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania, rated E 10+, will release on October 5, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) for $39.99 (console) and $29.99 (PC). The Digital Deluxe edition will retail for $49.99.
