Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival invites players to put your rhythmic skills to the test and light their drumming spirit on fire!

In Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, players can drum along to reach delightful levels of synchronicity with an extensive library of over 76 bopping beats ranging from classical to popular hit songs, including an orchestral version of the main theme from The Legend of Zelda, as well as “Gurenge,” “Feel Special” and “Racing into the Night.”

In addition to these songs that will be available in the Taiko mode, the Story mode will take them on a journey to become a Drum Master along with DON-Chan and Kumo-Kyun. Players will also be able to showcase their skills in online battles or collaborate with friends in the Party Mode. “Don Coins” will be earned through the different modes and allow for players to get items such as costumes or nameplates to personalise their appearance.

Additionally, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival features two new gameplay modes. In DON-chan Band Mode, players can take part in a 4-player live concert and jam out together. In the Great Drum Toy War Mode, players will be able to face-off against each other to decide who is the ultimate drumming master!

The Taiko no Tatsujin franchise, which started in 2001, has seen countless titles and songs in the over 20 years long history of the rhythm game franchise. Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival will be the first title to offer the Taiko Music Pass along with a 7-days free access. By subscribing to the Taiko Music Pass players will have access to a catalog of more than 500 songs with monthly updates adding new songs. More details are available on the official website.

Take a tour of bustling Omiko City with fun-loving tour guides DON-chan and Kumo-Kyun to see how Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival lets players drum to the beat of their own heart.

Visit the Thunder Shrine to play the original Taiko Mode and the new Concierge Mode – Improvement Support, where players can master the most challenging sections of songs.

Get the band together with party games in Taiko Land, where up to four players can compete in “couch co-op” as they drum different parts of songs or go head-to-head with another player with their hand-selected toys in the unique and colorful Great Drum Toy War mode.

Take your skills on a global tour in Dondoko Town, competing with players from around the world on the road to becoming a Taiko master.

Players with save data from Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun will receive 3 bonus songs as well as some customisation items.

On top of this, episodes of Taiko no Tatsujin: The Anime, are now available on Youtube. The anime series follows Kotaro and his friends in their quest to become Taiko masters, with the help of DON-Chan and other characters from the Taiko no Tatsujin franchise.
