Supporting 1-6 players, Goons: Legends & Mayhem is a 3 vs 3 hockey action game with a variety of PvE and PvP modes, including a full story campaign. Players can choose from one of eight characters divided into 3 classes - the attack focused sharpshooter, the defense oriented enforcer and the wingman, a wildcard that can either focus on supporting their team, or act as a constant pain in the neck of the opponents. Each character has their own special ability, including explosive mines, freezing opponents in a cube of ice and teleportation, adding an element of cartoony brawling to this hockey title where teamwork is the key to success.

Goons: Legends & Mayhem story campaign takes players on a varied journey across ice rinks nestled in forests, to floating ice rinks sailing the sea on pirate ships as they try to stop the Great Mascoteer’s mission to ruin hockey for everyone. On this adventure, players will encounter bosses to defeat, collectibles, character upgrades, and cool cosmetic unlockables.

Alongside the fun hockey gameplay, class-based characters and chaotic brawling abilities, even more depth is added by six environments for you to play with, each of which has its own special mechanics, environmental hazards and a goaltender to defeat.

The devs give players a little tour of the world of Zambonia in the new video, detailing the additions they have been making to the game as they edge ever closer to release. This includes a full campaign, story cinematics, localisation, cosmetic items, new UI and even a new cat character called Cosmo for you to take onto the ice.

• RELENTLESS GOALTENDERS: Other players are not your only worry here, goalies will also do their best to ruin your best plays whenever possible. Be it long-range attacks, vicious mortar attacks, or melee charges, no expense is spared protecting the net. In Goons: Legends & Mayhem’s story mode, goaltenders become literal boss fights, each of them teaching you how to master different hockey techniques, preparing you for your PVP skirmishes!
