During a Nintendo press conference, Spanish website Meristation received information from a Ubisoft spokes person that Ubisoft Canada (team behind Beyond Good & Evil) is working on a FPS for Nintendo's next-gen Revolution console, to be unveiled at E3 2006. Market researchers NPD Group announced that U.S. retail sales of video games in October fell to $365 million, down 24 percent from a year earlier, console game sales were around $294 million, while sales of handheld games were about $71 million.

Valve lastest Steam Update has a few details on what to expect in the near future regarding C-S Source and DoD Source. Over the next few weeks Valve'll have updates coming for both aforementioned titles, starting with one new level for each. Last week it was announced that an updated de_nuke will be making its return to Counter-Strike, and this week Valve revealed a new DoD Source map, named Argentan. Valve also said a new game is coming to Steam, with an official announcement due soon.
