'Final Fantasy XII' (PS2) Gets Release Date

Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy XII will be released on the PlayStation 2 in fiscal year 2005 in Japan and fiscal year 2006 in North America. In addition, plans to bring a Final Fantasy title to the PlayStation 3 are just beyond the horizon.

'Incrazyball' Announced

Already revealed a few weeks ago, French developer Lexis Numérique, announced its latest title, Incrazyball. A sort of Marble Madness in 3D, where you guide a ball through crazy tracks, much like Super Monkey Ball. Multiplayer and an editor will be included in the game so you can design your own tracks and share them with the rest of the community.

'.hack//G.U.' (PS2) Announced

Bandai Games today announced ".hack//G.U." for the PlayStation 2. The latest iteration of the ".hack" series will launch in Japan and North America in 2006. Developed by Cyber Connect 2, ".hack//G.U." will feature a new cast of characters and an original storyline. The world premier of the teaser trailer will run in the Bandai booth at E3 every day at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM PST.

KOEI Reveals 'NI-OH' (PS3) - Screens

KOEI for the first time revealed dramatic footage of its inaugural PlayStation 3 title, NI-OH at Sony's exclusive E3 Press Briefing. The clip, which depicts a blonde-haired samurai with blue eyes, is also being screened at the KOEI booth during the E3 held this week in the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Microsoft Pre-E3 Media Briefing Wrap Up

Tonight, Microsoft had its pre-E3 media briefing at the Shrine Auditorium. One of the major announcemens was the commitment of Square Enix to bring its Final Fantasy series to the X360, starting with FF XI. X360 will be backwards-compatible with top-selling Xbox games, and currently more than 160 games are in development for X360, with 25 to 40 games slated for release this calendar year. Various new titles were confirmed such as Mistwalker's Blue Dragon, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, Capcom's Dead Rising, Epic's Gears of War and also reiterated are the X360 specs. Sony Officially Announces Playstation 3

'America's Army: Special Forces' - v2.4 Update Available NOW

The US Army has released a new updated version for America's Army: Special Forces (Q-Course). This upgrade brings their team-based multiplayer game to v2.4 and includes a combination of random spawns with random and dynamic objectives, "carryable" objectives, random extraction points, four new Special Forces missions, and two new weapons. Capcom Signs 'Darkwatch'

Capcom today announced that they have reached an agreement with premier development house High Moon Studios, Inc. to publish their flagship title, Darkwatch. Darkwatch is an immersive, story driven FPS for the PS2 and the Xbox that blends the lawless action of the Wild West with the blood-soaked horror of vampire movies.
