Koei Europe announced today that "Colosseum: Road to Freedom" will ship to European territories in September 2005. Through this action/rpg gamers will experience first-hand the thrill of fighting in the gruesome spectacles of gladiator games, as well as the hardships of training as a slave.

Gamespot got the early scoop on an article that will run in next week's issue of Time Magazine, which includes an interview with Bill Gates about the Xbox 360 where he confirms earlier reports of a possible third Halo title : "Note to the hard-core faithful: the next version of Halo will not, repeat not, be ready in time for the launch of Xbox 360. It will be part of the all-important second wave next spring. 'It's perfect,' Gates says, radiant with bloodlust. 'The day Sony launches [the new PlayStation], and they walk right into Halo 3.'"

Here are the first four screens from Project Gotham Racing 3, presumably one of the Xbox 360 launch titles. Not officially announced yet, there are of course no additional details available, so these screens will have to do until later this week, as we will most likely have more news on this racing title when E3 is in full swing.

The Worms series recently diversified with Worms Forts Under Siege, a tactical RTS-like spin-off created for Sega. However, Worms 4: Mayhem is a return to the series' trademark gameplay and sees Team 17's core Worms design and development team regrouping for a game of explosive annelid annihilation.

Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Sunken Ruins"... Map info: "In one of the most tumultuous and dangerous parts of the ocean lies an isle run by goblins. Firefly Studios has updated its website with word about the second patch for its 3D RTS Stronghold 2. "The promised 1.2 update for Stronghold 2 should be available on Monday 16th of May. The 1.2 update improves multiplayer stability and connection issues and adds multiplayer functionality including the ability to kick players and create password protected games. Also the crime system has been tweaked, memory issues has been improved and various other bug fixes have been implemented."

Phantom Dust creator Yukio Futatsugi has commissioned the release of 34 new skills via the downloadable skill update 1.20 on Xbox Live. The new skills cover all the different skill schools and also include the mysterious 'Phantom Dust' skill which, while initially shrouded in mystery, promises to have a crazy, game altering effect. In addition to the new skills, Futatsugi and his team have made a ton of tweaks to existing skills, leveling out some of the more devastating and sometimes unfair skills and improving the homing ability of skills like 'Psycho Sniper'.

Interview With a Made Man is a complex and engrossing crime-based title, based on a storyline by best-selling author, David Fisher.
