'Take Command 1861 - 1st Bull Run' is what the industry calls a garage game, a title created by a group of individuals on their own time using their own resources with no external funding from publishers or investors. 'Civil War Bull Run' uses the weapons, strategies, and tactics of the Civil War without limiting game play to the actual battles of the era. The developed game engine will be fully customizable by the player so that they can create their own maps, modify ballistics, and basically change the entire game.

Interplay Signs 'Ballerium'

Wow, talk about a surprise! A few weeks ago Israeli game developer Majorem announced it was putting development of Ballerium on hold due to insufficient funds, and today Interplay announced that it will exclusively publish and distribute the massively multiplayer online strategy game. The game, currently in beta testing, is expected to be commercially launched by summer 2005.

'Constantine' (PS2/Xbox) Gets Hollywood Movie Stars

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, THQ and SCi today announced the talent line-up secured for the Constantine videogame, which is based on the upcoming film from Warner Bros. Pictures, set for release in February 2005, and the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels. Keanu Reeves, Tilda Swinton, Gavin Rossdale and Max Baker have their likeness recreated in the game and, players will be able to assume the title role of the film's protagonist John Constantine (Reeves) in the game.
