2K Games and FIRAXIS Games today announced that Sid Meier's Civilization IV for the PC has shipped to retail stores in North America. Sid Meier's Civilization IV will be in retail stores in Europe on November 4.

Destroy All Humans! may bery well become the first primetime series based on a video game as Fox is currently developing an animated series based on Pandemic/THQ's recently released action game. While there still has not been any official announcement, last year Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi stated that a PSP version of Gran Turismo 4 was in the works, tentatively scheduled for spring 2005. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has updated its release list which indicates that Gran Turismo 4 Mobile has been pushed back and is now listed as coming in 2006.
