While specific details are still somewhat sketchy, Konami did finally unveil the first details. As you can see from the screens and trailer, Snake is much older than any of the previous titles, and the events in MGS 4 take places several years after Metal Gear Solid 2. It has been six years since the destruction of Raccoon City and in that time, the U.S. government has been able to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation. Fast forward to 2004 and players rejoin Leon, who is now a U.S. agent with a top-secret mission. He has been tasked to look into the abduction of the President’s daughter and his investigation has led him to a mysterious location in Europe.

'Alone in the Dark' Coming To PS3

While there are absolutely no details released, Sony Computer Entertainment did announce at the Tokyo Game Show that Atari is working on a new chapter in its horror franchise, Alone in The Dark, coming to Playstation 3. The last title, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, was released back in 2001 on various platforms.
