Forgotten Realms tells the story of three heroes: a fighter, a sorcerer, and a rogue. The trio of adventurers accidentally releases a demon into the world and must find a way to send it back to hell. Along the way they get caught up in an even bigger plot that has even larger repercussions for the Realms. The gang traverses all kinds of locations, including Damara, Vaasa, and the Jungles of Chult. Stormfront Studios' Forgotten Realms uses an enhanced version of The Two Towers engine. resulting in some of the most excellent graphics to date.

'World of WarCraft' - Beta Sign Ups NOW

The online signup pages for the World of Warcraft Beta Test are now live! Anytime between now and 6:00 pm PST on Wednesday, February 4th, residents of Canada, Korea, and the US can submit their applications for a chance to help test one of the most anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing games of 2004. Applicants in Korea should sign up at the Korean Blizzard website.

'Nightshade' (PS2) - Screens

"Nightshade" is the official name for the upcoming PS2 title formerly known as "Kunoichi" (it remains "Kunoichi" in Japan). Players take on the role of the sexy and dangerous female ninja Hibana as she battles legions of demonic foes with unlimited combo attacks and powerful ninja magic. Developed by SEGA's Overworks studio, "Nightshade" is slated to be released in early Q1 04. Read more for details and new screens.

'Painkiller' - Site Revamped & Demo Date

Dreamcatcher sent out word that they have revamped the Painkiller website, People Can Fly's upcoming First Person Shooter. To get your fill of gameplay movies soaked in bloody, squishy footprints, never before seen renders of vicious, hungry monsters, heart-stopping sound-files, the full, entirely gruesome storyline and the first opportunity to PRE-ORDER (More info on pre-order campaign coming next week). The Painkiller website also mentions that the official Painkiller Single-Player Demo will be released Feb 16th, but it seems the full game has been slightly delayed until April 12th.
