Yesterday the official 'German' demo became available, go get it if you havent yet. A futuristic racing game in the style of the 'Fifth Element'. I am not much of a racing freak but the game looks pretty nice.. lots of action, power ups, cops chasing you, several cars to choose from (the demo only has 2 but more will be in the full game). There are 2 maps in the demo, one where u steal a car and one where u race against a few NPC's .. check the screens!

'New World Order' Public Multiplayer Beta

We already mentioned it earlier, here is the official press release. Project Three today announced that starting Tuesday March 26th 12.00 CET the highly anticipated Public Multiplayer Beta of the next-gen tactical first person shooter New World Order will be downloadable for public use at the following location. The playable demo will also be mirrored by several other websites, to allow people to pick their optimal download location.

New World Order Multiplayer demo will be coming to a computer near you ... according to the Project3 forum admin its scheduled for next week, the 26th March isnt that the date Global Ops should hit the shevles?). For the people who have been hiding under a rock the past few months, New World Order is a eagerly awaited First Person Shooter in the pure Counterstrike style ... I have been following the NWO forum for a few weeks and tensions were growing and the atmosphere grimmer by the day, but alas next week our suffering will come to an end. There isnt much known about it but from what we have seen, its looking mighty good! We'll see you all on Tuesday, on the battlefield!

Activision Announces 'Starfleet Command III'

Star Trek Starfleet Command® III is the next installment in the Star Trek tactical starship combat simulator series, while also revealing that Activision has picked up the publishing reigns for SFC from Interplay. The developer of the game is not specified, but the game is expected to be released in time for this year's holiday season. This quote from Larry Goldberg, executive vice president at Activision, offers some expectations for the game as well as word that the Next Generation reference in the press release is literal: "The Starfleet Command series captures the spirit and style of Star Trek by offering large-scale, ship-to-ship tactical combat. Star Trek Starfleet Command III reinvents the legendary series by bringing it into the Star Trek: The Next Generation universe and introducing powerful new ship customization, more in-depth story missions, and a streamlined interface."

'Warrior Kings' Patches Available NOW

Microids has released new patches for Warrior Kings, upgrading the UK, French and Italian editions of this 3D real-time strategy game by Black Cactus to version 1.2. This 5.0 MB release adds a large number of general, gameplay, level and art fixes as listed on the download pages. The game is only available in Europe as of now.
