LucasArts today announced Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, which gathers the popular real-time strategy Windows PC game Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and its dynamic Episode II mission expansion Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns in a single package. The value oriented Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, expected to release this October, will challenge players with more than 50 battle campaigns representing the classic and prequel Star Wars universe.

There is a Dragon's Lair 3D trailer at PC.IGN.com, showing the cel-shaded third-person action adventure by DragonStone Software in motion. The movie requires a 30.2 MB download in MPEG format and offers two minutes of introductory and action-packed gameplay footage. The official Beam Breakers site offers a new Beam Breakers trailer of this futuristic flying car racing game by German developers Similis. You can download or stream the movie in four different resolutions (7-10 MB), and it sports a minute of DivX footage introducing the game's premise and showing some fast-paced gameplay. Elixir Studios' offers downloads of a new Republic: the Revolution movie trailer in high quality DivX format (47.5 MB) as well as medium quality AVI format (27.0 MB) but both in 320x240 resolution, showing the game's setting, detailed cities and more in some two and a half minutes of in-engine footage. "Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner" is an entirely new 3D adventure from producer Hideo Kojima and character designer Yoji Shinkawa, the creative team behind the celebrated Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In ZOE2, players are once again thrown into an interplanetary conflict, but this time the stakes are even higher, as the fate of Jupiter and Mars are held in the balance.

One ring to rule them all… Based on New Line Cinema's epic adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy novels, The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers video games will integrate cinema and gameplay to deliver an epic interactive experience. The official Battlefield: 1942 web site has started a clock counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the release of the multiplayer demo for the upcoming WWII multiplayer game. According to the clock the demo for Digital Illusions and Electronic Arts' game will be released at 12 noon PST (3 p.m. EST) on Friday and will contain the Wake Island map, five player classes and eight kinds of vehicles, including planes and ships.
