Atlus U.S.A., Inc., announced today that SkyGunner, the anime, aerial combat videogame, has shipped for the PS2. SkyGunner follows the story of 3 ace pilots, Ciel, Copain and Femme, who are hired to protect the "Eternal Engine" an engine capable of perpetual motion without the need for an outside power source. Little do they know, that the criminal genius, Ventre is planning to use the town's celebration aboard the luxury airship, Merveilleux... as an opportunity to steal the Eternal Engine for his own evil ends...

The 3DO Company today announced the development of the first Sarge’s Heroes title for the Nintendo GameCube, Army Men: Sarge’s War. The Sarge’s Heroes games were some of the most successful third-party titles for the Nintendo 64, having sold over a million units between the two games. The Army Men: Sarge’s War game is planned to ship in Spring 2003.

Computer and video game publisher Gathering of Developers, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., and developer Illusion Softworks in association with development team Pterodon, today announced "Vietcong" for the PC. Set during the Vietnam War, "Vietcong" is a first person shooter with tactical elements. The game is expected to hit store shelves this fall.

Midway Sports announced today that MLB SlugFest 20-03, their over-the-top baseball game, has shipped to retail outlets across North America for PlayStation 2. Officially licensed by Major League Baseball Properties and MLBPA, MLB SlufFest 20-03 expands on the franchise with a faster batter/pitcher interface, over 1,500 player animations official stadiums and players, and a music video by Dry Kill Logic. MLB SlufFest 20-03 is set for release on Xbox and GameCube later this summer, with the Game Boy Advance version following in the fall. We had a bunch of screens a while ago,
