Microsoft has released a new patch for Ensemble Studios' AoE III: The WarChiefs, bringing your retail game to v1.04a which includes all the original v1.04 fixes, as well as fixing a crash that occurred when you accessed home city decks in the French, Italian, German, Spanish editions.

Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is a fully animated interactive adventure, allowing players will step into the shiny wingtips of Harvey Birdman, a third-rate superhero turned third-rate defense attorney charged with exonerating parodied classic cartoon characters.

FASA Studio manager Mitch Gitelman announced that they are no more, "Today was the official last day of employment for those of us who had not moved on to other positions within Microsoft Game Studios." Half the people found other positions within MGS and Microsoft, while Community Manager and Technical Support Manager will remain on the job to continue the Shadowrun support.

Virtua Fighter 5 raises the bar for console fighting games including all the features fans know and love plus enhanced gameplay mechanics, additional characters and new fighting styles, as well as newly redesigned 3D environments.

Loki: Heroes of Mythology is an action/RPG where players take on the role of one of four great mythological heroes as they confront hordes of evil minions, battle against great mythological beasts and defy the gods in an adventure bristling with rage. While the previous demo let you play as the Norse fighter, this one puts you in charge of the Egyptian mage.

Electronic Arts' first Wii trivia game Smarty Pants will combine age-targeted trivia with action-based gestures, making it a truly trans-generational game for the Wii.

SNK Playmore USA announced that it will release several of its greatest NEOGEO arcade games via the Virtual Console feature on Wii, such as Fatal Fury, World Heroes, and Art of Fighting. Each title is expected to cost 900 Wii Points, so users can download these classic games through the Wii Shop Channel.

Zen Studios' Flipper Critters is a fully 3 dimensional, original new gameplay experience based on classic pinball. Unlike most games, which take place on small, closed tables, Flipper Critters pinball takes place on a much bigger scale. Originally scheduled for July, delayed until Sept. 2006, then moved it back to Feb. 2007, Ignition is finally pinning down October 9, 2007 as launch date...
