Sinking Island is a dark detective adventure story set on a tropical paradise. At a millionaire's hotel a crime is committed, and while the island seems to be sinking for unknown reasons, you, as detective Jack Norm, have to find out who did it.

Activision announced that it has acquired U.K.-based video game developer Bizarre Creations, known for the Project Gotham Racing franchise, a $1.4 billion market that is the fourth most popular video game genre and represents more than 10% of the total video game market worldwide.

MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries. In his latest podcast Kojima Productions revealed that starting today it is developing the English Metal Gear Solid 4 : Guns of the Patriots demo, although no time frame for its release was mentioned.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is Nintendo's latest incarnation in the popular Super Smash Bros. series of titles featuring all new characters ranging from Kirby and Wario to Samus, and even Metal Gear Solid's Snake.

Revealed a little while ago, THQ officially announced the next standalone chapter in Relic's RTS franchise, WH 40K: Dawn of War - Soulstorm. Featuring an extensive interplanetary campaign spanning an entire star system in the WK40K universe, Soulstorm introduces two all-new factions for an unprecedented total of nine playable races.

In Half-Life 2: Ep. Two, armed with new weaponry and vehicles, Dr. Gordon Freeman must race through a countryside riddled with an increasingly fierce Combine threat. Half-Life 2: The Orange Box also includes Team Fortress 2 as a multiplayer addition, and physics-focused Portal.

The Games Company has established a new label named Green Kangaroo, focusing on releasing decent casual and kids´ games, with its first title being TELL: the Game of the Movie, a point-&-click adventure scheduled for Nov. 2nd, 2007.
