Following a same path as 2024, Blizzard announced that BlizzCon 2025 is not happening but will return to the Anaheim Convention Center September 12 - September 13 in 2026.

Back in May Blizzard had already announced that it would not be organizing any BlizzCon event in 2021, instead looking ahead to BlizzConline in early 2022, which is now apparently also canceled.

As guidelines in California around in-person gatherings continue to evolve and the status of the pandemic fluctuates around the globe, Blizzard has decided it will not be holding BlizzCon this year.
