Oddly enough 'market research' revealed that Europeans prefer muted and gritty colors, while Americans prefer bright and beautiful, so JoWood plans to release it with two different color palettes. Having recently split with Piranha Bytes over the bug-ridden quality of the previous Gothic titles, Jowood has teamed with Spellbound to work on Gothic 4. A little while ago JoWood announced it would be bringing its biggest franchises to console, and today brings the first announcement in that regard. Having recently split with Piranha Bytes (which means no more patches btw) over the bug ridden quality of the previous Gothic titles, Jowood announced today that it is in negotiations with a major development studio for Gothic 4, scheduled for PC and consoles.
