Nintendo's PR machine got into gear today with an early bird special, mark May 9, 2006 in your calendar as Nintendo will unveil the Nintendo Revolution. That particular day is of importance because that is the annual day when Nintendo has its pre-e3 conference at the Kodak Theatre (home of the Academy Awards), on Hollywood Blvd, kickoff at 9:30 a.m. Hopefully we'll get to see more than just a mockup, and a tv remote.

By using a password-controlled setting, adults can decide what flexibility they'll allow younger players to have in playing video games rated 3+, 7+, 12+, 16+ or 18+. Today Nintendo President Satoru Iwata outline the company's bold vision for the future. Iwata made several major announcements during his Game Developers Conference keynote speech such as the fact that the Revolution is proceeding on schedule and will include both backward compatibility and Wi-Fi features. Iwata also announced that Nintendo soon will offer a free Wi-Fi connection service to NDS owners, and demonstrated several new titles using voice recognition, touch-screen control and wireless connectivity.
