Japanese ad agency Dentsu has teamed up with Nintendo to launch a video on demand service on the Wii. Unlike the PS3 and X360 services, which deliver existing movies and TV shows, the Wii service will offer specifically created programs. No details on what type of content will be created — cartoons, anime or full-blown TV shows — and while the pricing isn't set yet, some will be free, while others won't. Nintendo will start testing the movie service in Japan sometime in 2009.
