High Energy Productions' producer Keisuke Kikuchi announced Rygar: The Battle of Argus will be an all-new Wii exclusive title, not a PS2 port. Expected later this year in Japan, Rygar: The Battle of Argus will introduce a new hero and use the Wiimote to control Rygar's trademark weapon, the Diskarmor. Originally scheduled for Dec. 2008, Tecmo has pushed back Rygar until Feb. 3, 2009.

Capcom is working on bringing the original Gamecube (based on the 1996 PSOne game) title in the Resident Evil series to the Wii. Currently only scheduled for a December release in Japan, the port will add no new content or features, apart from making it compatible with the Wiimote controls.

Using a new technology called the "Pollux Engine Square Enix has created a true cross-platform game as it will be identical on both NDS and Wii. Use the stylus to control your character on the NDS while the Wiimote will mimic the same actions on the Wii.
