Activision announced today that the company has shipped in excess of one million units worldwide of DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar The Game. The title, based on the hit feature film, was released in the U.S. on May 24.

Based on DreamWorks' feature film, Madagascar The Game lets players discover their true animal instincts when an adventurous journey lands them on the remote island of Madagascar. Gamers must master each animal's individual survival skills in order to tackle obstacles and foes in scenarios from the movie and beyond.

Variety is reporting that Al Pacino will have to "nod" hello to his little friends, as he is allowing his likeness, but not his voice, to be used in Vivendi's upcoming Scarface video game. Pacino's voicework will be done by an "unnamed low-profile actor." Fellow Scarface actors Steven Bauer and Robert Loggia, on the other hand, are lending likeness and voice to their respective characters.

NASCAR 2006 is expected somewhere in August and instead of the "you vs. the rest of the pack," it will now focus on team play. NASCAR 2006 will allow you to be part of a racing team, give commands, switching over to other cars in your team (especially useful in case you wreck your own ride), and of course slightly updated graphics. Your team members will either like or dislike you, depending on your action on the track.
