CGOnline Relic Entertainment founder Alex Garden has left the company. Relic was acquired by THQ last year, and a statement issued by the publisher said that Garden "wrapped up his projects for us, including facilitating the transition through the Relic acquisition, and is now focusing on projects apart from THQ."

Midway Games today announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Epic Games giving Midway use of Epic's Unreal Engine 3 technology and tools for next generation console and PC game development.
