KOEI Ltd. today announced that it will be bringing Dynasty Warriors 4, the latest instalment of the worldwide best-selling Tactical Action series, to the European market this June. With more than one million units sold in Japan in little less than one month of release, and with the US version due in store next week, Dynasty Warriors 4 appears poised to become an instant hit in the European market as well.

The sequel to Terminal Reality's horror-action game of 2002 will apparently be published by Activision, not the original game's Majesco.

‘The Great Escape’ is based on the 1963 Oscar nominated film staring Steve McQueen and revolves around actual events during WW2. The game is set in a number of unique locations, from POW camps to a mountain-top castle. Game levels include a busy hospital, a chase through a moving train and escape from an active Luftwaffe airfield. The core of the game centres on the largest mass breakout ever, from the ‘escape proof’ Stalag Luft III prisoner of war camp. The game uses the powerful storyline and strong characters from the film to place the player in the heart of the action, as the POW’s resist the German war machine. It uses a combination of stealth, combat and frantic action involving multiple vehicles and an awesome motorbike based finale.

Sony Online Entertainment Inc. today announced Lords of EverQuest, the next-generation of Real-Time Strategy (RTS) gaming, marking the company's entrance into offline PC gaming. Inspired by the world of online gaming phenomenon EverQuest, Lords of EverQuest features an enthralling storyline drawing gamers to the land of Antonica as they control one of 15 Lords and manage massive armies in their quest for domination. Lords of EverQuest will set new standards for the traditional RTS genre with thousands of items, hundreds of spells, the ability for all units in the game to gain experience and abilities, and free online multiplayer options* for up to 12 players per game. The name of the official add-on to CDV's real time strategy hit American Conquest has been confirmed - American Conquest: Fight Back! The add-on will be released in Germany on May 30, 2003. The international release dates have yet to be announced. You'll be able to play American Conquest: Fight Back! without the original game. The new game will feature a complete new battle mode as well as five new nations. There are also 10 single player and multiplayer maps for the new battle mode, 50 new units and 25 new missions in eight campaigns. It's clearly a must-have for all American Conquest fans! (

The "Dead or Alive" fighting video game franchise is coming to the big screen in a film described as "Charlie's Angels" meets "Enter the Dragon."
