Nintendo changed the world of video games with touch-screen gaming on the NDS in 2004, then pioneered the motion-controlled gaming revolution with the Wii's Remote controller back in 2006, and today unveils an even more immersive gaming experience: Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime revealed that it plans to release the 3DS by March 31, 2011 in all of its major markets.

In the ongoing fight against video game piracy worldwide, Nintendo of America has filed a civil lawsuit against the owner of multiple websites that sell illegal video game copiers. Nintendo filed suit on May 11 in the Western District of Washington against the owner of NXPGAME of Queens, NY.
