Ubi Soft Entertainment announced an agreement to extend its partnership with Cyan Worlds, Inc. to develop and publish new games for the Myst franchise through 2008. The deal ensures that Rand Miller, co-creator of Myst and founder of Cyan Worlds, Inc., will continue to play a central role in helping Ubi Soft develop the Myst series. It also furthers Ubi Soft’s ability to produce and market games for a wide audience.

Ubi soft today announced details for the second mission CD for their strategy hit 'Settlers IV'. The expansion pack will be titled 'Settlers IV - The New World', expected to be available in stores by end of the year. Story: The Vikings have discovered America - The New World. Back in Europe this message spreads like wild fire in the settler universe. Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced a rebate program for its forthcoming Chessmaster 9000 PC title. Under the program, current Chessmaster owners will receive a $10 rebate when they upgrade to Chessmaster 9000 from any previous version of Chessmaster, starting with Chessmaster 4000. Chessmaster 9000 has an MSRP of $39.99, and will ship to U.S. and Canadian retail shelves on August 27, 2002.

Ubi Soft today announced a licensing agreement with Eidos for Tomb Raider on Game Boy ® Advance. With the new two-year agreement, Ubi Soft acquires exclusive worldwide development and publishing rights for 'Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy' for the Game Boy Advance. The game will be released this Christmas.

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that it has entered into a publishing agreement under which 1C: Maddox Games will develop new content for the multi-award winning WWII combat flight simulation title, IL-2 Sturmovik. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles will include two new maps for Finland and Hungary, expanding the battlefield for both single and multiplayer modes. It will also feature more than 20 new single player missions and ten cooperative multiplayer missions. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles is expected to ship to retail stores worldwide in Fall 2002.

As a world premiere, during E3 2002 Ubi Soft Entertainment will be unveiling Project BG&E, the latest creation by Michel Ancel, creator of the critically acclaimed Rayman series. Ubi Soft announced today a worldwide deal with 20th Century Fox to develop the popular game Aliens vs. Predator for the first time ever on the Game Boy Advance hand-held video game system.
