New Star Grand Prix is a top-down racing game inspired by classics such as Super Sprint and Micro Machines, but brought bang up to date to feature all the teams, drivers and tracks of the 2009 Grand Prix season. New Star GP has been updated to version 1.16 and now features an online multiplayer mode where up to 20 drivers can compete over the internet or LAN.

Konami of America Inc. has inked a comprehensive deal with K-1 USA that will designate Konami the exclusive videogame sponsor of the popular mixed martial arts circuit in North America. Through the agreement, Konami and its upcoming PlayStation 2 videogame, K-1 World Grand Prix, will receive extensive exposure at K-1 USA's marquee competitions including the K-1 USA Elimination (May 2, The Mirage, Las Vegas) and K-1 USA Semi-Finals (August 15, Bellagio Hotel, Las Vegas). On Wednesday, the 4th of December techland finished working on FIM Speedway Grand Prix. After two weeks of testers' intensified work and final improvements of the game, it was sent to replication on Thursday, the 5th December at 11.15. Despite of the extreme tiredness and sacrifice of all the SGP Team, all people who worked on FIM SGP have been very satisfied with the achievement. The game will apear in Poland before Christmas. Distributors for other countries will be found soon and the game will be released worldwide in Q1 2003.
