Serious Sam fansite Seriously! has received word that 2K Games will be releasing the second patch for Croteam's Serious Sam II in the next week or 2. After LucasArts cancelled Sam & Max: Freelance Police in 2004, the game has been in limbo, until a few months ago Sam & Max creator Steve Purcell, currrently working at Pixar, has come to an agreement with Telltale Games to work on the next Sam & Max title. Telltale has launched a Sam & Max product page, and although it holds little concrete information, it does state : Will Telltale’s game be based on the cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police game? 2K Games informed us that a second Serious Sam II demo will be released this Monday at 10 AM! The new level incorporates the recently released patch (fixing issues with the interface + multiplayer), and includes an additional level from the full game that can be played in both single and co-op multiplayer! For those who already have the full game, the level is "Greendale". We will of course have it available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.

Earlier this week rumors went wild that 2K Games informed us that the eagerly anticipated Serious Sam 2 demo will be released tomorrow morning at 10AM EDT (7am PST). The single/multiplayer demo will feature the complete Seriousopolis Uptown level, playable over LAN and co-op with up to four people, all weapons included and will also have one of the vehicles. Of course we will have the demo available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.
