Gears of War: Exile was a yet unannounced new game in development by Epic for the Xbox 360. Revealed in January 2011, the new game was most likely to be unveiled
at the 2011 VGA Awards before it got pulled at the last minute. Gears of War: Exile was rumored to be an on-rails shooter, but design director Cliff Bleszinski now confirmed that "Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can't give any details about that has since been canceled."
