D3Publisher will bring its classic PSP titles to gamers for download via the PlayStation Store in North America beginning this September. Last month SCEA announced a revamped PSP model with a higher quality LCD screens for better picture quality. Shortly thereafter rumors claimed that because of the enhanced screen the battery life would be shorter than the previous PSP model. Sony issued a statement saying that those rumors are incorrect, and while the new PSP screen draws a little more power, its engineers worked to reduce the power consumption of the overall system to even things out.
