Evochron Mercenary is a first person 3D space combat, trader, and exploration simulation. It is the sequel to Evochron Legends and rounds out a trilogy in the series culminating in the game with the highest level of technology and most extensive feature set. Mercenary takes gameplay, control, physics, sound/music, and graphics in several new directions.

The weekend is over too quickly again! Why does this always happen? It's the weirdest thing.

I started fiddling around with my new gaming PC and have come to the conclusion that this is going to be harder than I'd anticipated. I was just going to upgrade the graphics card and swap out hard drives, but in order to do that, I'm going to need to also swap out power supplies, RAM, and who knows what else. Yup, there will be lots of cursing done before this project is over.

We planted our spring flower bulbs, went to our first Christmas party, and watched Zombie Strippers (the name piqued interest, but man, what a horrendously bad flick) and a few episodes of The Amazing Race.

Spike TV's Video Game Awards returned this year with a 8th anniversary celebration that gathered some of the world's hottest creators and designers as they honor the year's greatest achievements gaming. All the heavy hitters are present, with multiple nominations for God of War III, Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2, Black Ops and so forth...

Primal Carnage is an all-new action game, based on survival in hostile enviroments. Team based, class driven, all out survival combat, pushes Primal Carnage to the extremes of multiplayer, online games.

Similar to most of the other 2010 Video Game Awards unveilings, details on Forza Motorsport 4 are as good as nonexistant, but nonetheless Turn10 has announced that it is working on the next installment in its racing franchise, scheduled for release in Fall 2010, possibly with Kinect compatibility and head tracking.

The 2010 VGAs had quite a few interesting announcements being made: Forza 4, Insane, Protoype 2, SSX: Deadly Descents and TES V. Very cool. Some of it's quite a few years out, but at least it gives us something to look forward to. Wonder what happened with the promised Gears Of War announcement. It was canceled at the last minute by Microsoft, so that must not have made CliffyB happy since he wasn't able to steal the show and all.

We got most of our chores done, and there are a few more to do tomorrow, but we also need to attend our first Christmas gathering and make some cupcakes in preparation. Should be fun.

We watched Bones, Burn Notice, Hell's Kitchen, Psych, and for tomorrow we have a few more things on the DVR, Get Him to the Greek or The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Details are still slim but Activision is once again teaming up with Radical to develop a sequel to 2009's action game Prototype. While in the original you played as Alex Mercer, the tables will be turned in the sequel as you will control Sergeant James Heller with the sole mission of finishing off the protagonist of the first title by becoming a a mutated monster yourself.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception blurs the entertainment boundaries, delivering the cinematic scale, adrenalin rushes, thrills and mystery that are the Uncharted trademark; together with its unique and enhanced multiplayer experience.

The newest chapter of the fight franchise marks a return to the series’ mature presentation and a reinvention of its classic 2D fighting mechanic. Driven by an all new graphics engine, the Fatality is back, presented in more gory detail than ever before, as well as a number of new game-play features and a deep story mode.

In Resistance 3, humans are hunted by Chimeran death squads, but various groups have figured out different ways to survive across the destroyed country.

Conquest: Hadrian's Divide is an action/combat title set in Roman occupied Britain.

Highlander is a third person action adventure set in the Highlander universe – control an Immortal embroiled in a battle against rival Immortals in an adventure spanning over 2000 years. Announced in 2004, but last heard of in 2008, Square Enix inherited the game when it acquired Eidos, and has decided to cancel the Unreal Engine 3 powered action/adventure game.

Yakuza 4 is a very powerful number in this particular installment. Not only will you encounter the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma's experiences, but three other characters will also be available to play, each with an engaging backstory and a gripping, interwoven plot.
