Sony has released a new v3.30 PSP firmware update, adding new features such as display thumbnails under RSS Channel, expanded support for PlayStation Network-downloaded PSOne games, support for displaying thumbnails for files in the VIDEO folder, and the option to set Disc-Load speed to Fast or Normal.
BioWare is bringing an enhanced version, high-resolution graphics and new visual effects, of Jade Empire to the PC. The original, story of Jade Empire is injected with new monsters, weapons, combat styles, new challenges, and special items to discover.

While many expected a PS3 version, Sony Europe announced Wipeout Pulse, developed by Studio Liverpool, is coming to the PSP. Seven new game modes, 24 new tracks, plenty of futuristic ships, devastating weaponry, 8 teams, and a new Training section. WipEout Pulse will also support Ad Hoc and Infrastructure multiplayer modes, and have downloadable content, offering even more tracks & ships past its September launch.
