Polyphony Digital revealed that GT5 will more than double Forza 3's number of cars, promising 1000 vehicles, 20 tracks in 60 different layouts, custom soundtrack support, and while there is a damage model, it will be limited to certain car manufacturers. While there was no Euro/North American date mentioned, it is safe to say that it will not be before the Japanese release.

Halo 3: ODST is a new game in the Halo saga that lets people experience events leading up to the epic story told in Halo 3 through the eyes of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, as they search for clues leading to the whereabouts of their scattered squad and the motivations behind the Covenant's invasion of New Mombasa. A widget on Bungie's website tracks how many people have played Halo 3 ODST, so on the first day it tracked roughly 950k players, people who obviously just bought the game.

Capcom announced that two titles on display at the 2009 Tokyo Game Show will be coming to North America and Europe in 2010. New Capcom titles Sengoku BASARA Samurai Heroes and Ghost Trick (working title), displayed to the Japanese gaming public for the first time in Tokyo, will be making the transition to western gamers next year.

Over the next few days, we'll have some
Tokyo Game Show coverage on the site, as you may have noticed from the Sony and Microsoft articles posted last night.
If our local correspondent comes through, we may even get some on-location coverage, but we'll see what comes in.
Watched the latest episode of "Sons of Anarchy," and it was good stuff. It seems something nasty is brewing between the cigar guru, the local cops and the MC. Henry Rollins looks scary as ever, so that was a good casting choice!
Over the weekend, we'll probably roll out some updates on the site, although they are mainly back-end tweaks, little adjustments we're making as we are learning the ins and outs of the new CMS. Soon, we will work on getting the comments working again, so that should be a nice addition for all you chatterboxes out there ....
