Our trip to the movies to see "Surrogates" has been postponed until tomorrow, which gave us some time to watch stuff on the DVR. We caught up on Supernatural, Flashforward, Bones and The Amazing Race, which is like the old La Chasse au trésor that I used to watch when I was a kid.

Aside from the movie plans, we have nothing else on tomorrow's schedule, so we'll probably do some more watching (a few episodes of Heroes), groceries, laundry and perhaps squeeze in a few games (Republic Heroes and Operation Flashpoint).

Mafia II immerses players in the mob underworld of a fictitious late 1940s-early 1950s scenario by fusing high-octane gunplay with white-knuckle driving and an engaging narrative. EVE Online is an MMO game set in a world of galactic proportions, governed by a hyper-capitalistic economy where space flight is the path to all commerce, communication, and conflict. Sin & Punishment: Star Successor is taking adrenaline-soaked adventure to inspiring new heights. By saying on a video game site that Digital Rights Management (DRM) sucks, I'm preaching to the choir. We've all heard the stories about and, in some cases, experienced StarForce, SecuROM and other schemes of various effectiveness to prevent the piracy of video games.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 features a deep, rich gameplay experience by offering total team customization, where players create their own team name, icon and vehicle, as well as establish their team reputation as they play throughout the story.

Ahh weekend, my favorite time of the week. Time to actually sleep and watch even more TV. We'll probably check out Bruce Willis' "Surrogates," which looks interesting.

This week and next week, quite a few big titles are shipping, and judging from all the press events marked on my calendar it's safe to say that the ramp-up to the holidays has begun, and plenty of titles are coming. Another 4 events this week. Luckily all of them are local, and no, we're not flying out to Italy to check out Assassin's Creed II.

And now for the shameless plug. It was good to hear that Vogster is taking care of business and going to release a limited free-to-play version of CrimeCraft. Love playing the game, but it sure could use some more people in it. While you can trigger PvE instances, the PvP is a big part of the game so new recruits are more than welcome. Hopefully, this will also bring down the prices in the auction house (rare items are being sold for outrageous amounts of money). You all better check it out later this month. You have no excuse not to. :)
